CarbonCloud is the food industry’s Climate Intelligence Platform. Our visual software enables food and beverage players identify, track, and optimize their climate footprint throughout the supply chain. As an important yet knowledge-intensive task, our customers often need our help in working with their climate footprint.
That’s when you come in as a Customer Support Specialist. You will contribute to the already high satisfaction of our client base with technical and scientific support. Primarily, you will help our customers on their learning journey of reducing product emissions with day-to-day operations: Responding to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner; Communicating the scientific, technological, and business core of CarbonCloud clearly and concisely and supporting customers to fully understand how insights from CarbonCloud solve their challenges.

You can put yourself in the customer’s shoes and see things from their point of view. You understand the utmost value a customer can get out of CarbonCloud based on their specific challenges and goals. You have an aptitude in grasping what is a priority for each customer and you can highlight the business opportunities when solving a customer’s pain point. You are structured in your work and with your insights on customer questions, you will help improve our platform by giving structured feedback to the product and science team.
Your key responsibilities:
Respond to scientific and methodological questions regarding life cycle assessment (LCA) overall, and more specifically, supply chain modeling on the platform and ingredient data input.
Guide customers through technical queries around the functionality of the platform. You will be helping and educating customers to troubleshoot technical issues they encounter while using the product.
Keep our knowledge base up-to-date by identifying FAQs and adding new articles including performing the scientific research needed.
Partake in internal process optimization, internally in the customer success team and cross-team collaboration.
Review and verify our customers’ LCA models on the platform.
Skills & requirements:
B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sustainability Sciences or similar.
Quantitative skills
Knowledge in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and/or other environmental systems analysis
Good Excel skills
Proficient in professional English
Good to have:
Knowledge in food processing
Knowledge in agriculture
Additional language skills

Fixed monthly salary
Scope: Full-time employment (with a 6-month probationary period)
25 days of vacation annually

Location: Central Gothenburg office located at Aschebergsgatan 44 with the opportunity of working remotely 2-3 days a week
