We just raised €1M in international VC funding and are now looking for a Head of Marketing and Communications to support our mission of putting climate data in the hands of all food producers

We are looking for the person who will take on the overall responsibility for all marketing, public relations and external communication activities of CarbonCloud. We are confident that marketing will be a main driver of our growth.

Key tasks

  • Developing our marketing and communications strategy and manage its execution
  • Overseeing and building CarbonCloud’s brand, content, marketing materials, and social media presence
  • Creating efficient digital marketing infrastructure for demand generation
  • Managing CarbonCloud’s press relations

CarbonCloud is looking for a Head of Marketing who will work from our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. The assignment is to help put CarbonCloud on the map and to be instrumental in establishing the company as a thought leader in the domain of food and climate. CarbonCloud already has scientific and software expertise and is now looking for the expertise needed to make sure that we are mentioned wherever and whenever media covers the topic. You will help make our brand synonymous with food and climate change mitigation.

  • Are you passionate about continuous improvement across the online marketing and sales funnels; excited about paid digital (FB, Google, Other), brilliant at SEO, solid understanding of marketing data analysis methods?
  • Are you the person to build a highly efficient team of marketing professionals as the company grows?
  • Do you have outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities?
  • Are you good at languages? (English, German, ...?)

Some of us stick to our ordinary job descriptions, but we also have developers trying out sales, and designers doing marketing.


We are flexible with hours and remote work where needed, trusting everyone to do their best to work in a way that's effective. There's a lot to be done in the coming months though, and we've started working from the office most of the time.
